Seed Swapping is finally coming to Hastings and St Leonards. Woo Hoo!
There’s a whole movement out there of keen gardeners and growers who happily swap and share their vegetable, flower and herb seeds. Some events are huge like the Brighton Seedy Sunday with thousands of people attending, where there are demonstrations, talks, specialist nursery’s, professional growers. You name it, they are there.
I think ours in Hastings is kind of small. In fact we’re not sure how many will turn up, it’s the first time an event like this is being held, and who knows how it will go? Will there just be three of us and my flask of tea? Or will there be lots of enthusiastic seed swappers?
Whatever happens I’m sure it will be fun!

I hope it’s more than three people with your flask of tea! I should find out if there’s one happening in my area after summer. 🙂 Thanks for giving me the thought!
Oh gosh so do I! I’m a recent convert to seed swapping, it’s so much fun, and you never know what you’ll come back with. And there’s always some interesting people to chat to.
