Over-wintered chillies

Lemon Drop and Thai Hot and are both in flower.

Thai Hot and Lemon Drop Chilles

My 2nd attempt at over-wintering chillie plants has been a success. I chose 2 plants Lemon Drop and Thai Hot Chillie. They were sown back in February 2010, and were both slow to germinate, and then very slow to grow, so I hadn’t really had the chance to really taste or try them out. So I kept them on a sunny windowsill, watered them sparingly (read when I remembered), and put them outside a few weeks ago as it was so warm. Plus I needed the windowsill space for this years seedlings.

Call it neglectful sucess, but it’s still a result
