Hastings (3)

A bright warm November day and a walk to Hastings Fishing Beach and the fish net shops to see what I can snap and snaffle for my dinner. So I’ve re-christened today, Fishy Friday. If I eat out at certain restaurants the … Continue reading →

A walk along the beach in the morning is pure joy. Living in a town that has it’s own fishing fleet is a bonus.  So let me tell you a little about where I live. Hastings has had a fishing fleet … Continue reading →

Seed Swapping is finally coming to Hastings and St Leonards. Woo Hoo! There’s a whole movement out there of keen gardeners and growers who happily swap and share their vegetable, flower and herb seeds. Some events are huge like the Brighton … Continue reading →

promenadeplantings

An urbanite living on the south coast of England who spends as much time gardening as possible, and if not actually gardening at least thinking about it.

Having recently spent a wonderful winter in the French Alps I'm now back focusing on my allotment, well at least trying to catch up with all that needs doing.

I'm currently exploring ideas for writing, photography and social media - let's see where it leads!

Essentially it's all about growing, eating, sharing and living.
